SNAP STICK KEEPS ZIPPERS AND SNAPS WELL LUBRICATED
Snaps and zippers work best when clean and lubricated. Once washed and rinsed, owners can just apply water-resistant Snap Stick from Shurhold Industries, a lubricant and protectant, to keep them trouble free.
Unlike a spray or a gel that can get on surrounding surfaces, Snap Stick comes in a handy tube similar to Chapstick. With a twist, this product only goes where the owner puts it.
For snaps, Snap Stick should be rubbed on the male stud end and then snapped together to lubricate and protect both halves. All should be treated, even the ones that are never really opened. This will help prevent them from seizing in the future.
When applying to zippers, Snap Stick can be run along the open teeth of both sides then worked in with the zipper pull. This also works great on zippers off the boat, like golf bags and wetsuits. Snap Stick can also be rubbed on a key to protect the inside of locks or along a bit to lubricate it before drilling holes in metal.
Shurhold's Snap Stick has a price of $6.48.
